I use the Sony A5000 as a camera for filming normal videos and for vlogging, it is a little bit heavy because of the bigger lense but I absolutely love it. I actually have no idea what camera I would like next for vlogging. I think I'm just going to stick with this one for now 🙂 Great video guys

I just subscribe. Love this video. I have 2x DJI osmos, 3 x Canon 80D, 1x Canon VXIA G20 and Gopro 4+black and Gopro 6Black and of course my iphone 7. And i don't know with what camera to VLOG. I do it with my phone, but i am not satisfied. Any thoughts?

I am currently vlogging with my phone camera using a handle grip and an external Rode mic. I am leaning towards the Cannon G7X — I need the low light capabilities, image stabilization and flip screen. I am still trying to figure out if you can also use an external mic with it. I love the results I get with my Rode and want to continue to get great audio.

I primarily use the Canon G7x and my iPhone 7 for vlogging. I have been thinking about getting the Sony a6500 for the 4K quality and the external mic hot shoe, but it doesn't have a selfie screen and is really pricey. I'm strongly leaning towards the Canon M6, even though the mic will prevent the screen from being used when talking to the camera, but there's ways around that. 🙂

What about sound quality? Do you have to get extra stuff to get sound? What camera has a good light quality and good sound. This would be only for indoor use. I would not be on the road that much or shooting motion. Any thoughts?
