I just purchase a Canon 50mm F1.8 STM. Can't wait to get it. I am looking for a good lens to film a dinner/dance party indoors at night. I will be checking out the location in a few days for ceiling height and lighting conditions and types. I have a speedlite, but looking forward to not needing the flash. Would you start shooting at 2.8, F8.0 and iso 125 or 250? I usually shoot outdoor nature with 60mm Macro and 18mm-200mm zoom.

Are there any legalities when it comes to posting street photography with people in it on the internet? (I know that was kind of a confusing sentence XD) Say you took a photo that had someone in it and you could definitely see their face, would there be any legal issues with this?
