Hi Tony & Chelsea, Beautiful and a very informative video, thank you very much.
Please could you recommend a Carbon Fibre travel tripod suitable to support a Canon 5D MK II with the battery grip, 1.4 Sigma extender and a 150- 600mm Soprts lens?
Manfrotto aluminum tripods are much heavier with the same pistol grip you had. Best of luck.

Hi thanks for your video. I just got a very good Manfrotto MT055XPRO3 with Manfrotto MVH502AH Professional Fluid Video Head. When I open it up and set it up on a perfectly level floor (already pre-measured with a builder's level) there is still a slight tilt of the camera (noticeable to the eye). Furthermore, when I remove the fluid head, I notice that the quick release slider part of the head that attaches to the camera is also slightly off level from the rest of the head, as if it is not a precise snug fit in the track, even when it is clamped tight. And it wobbles slightly, as if it's warped, when I rest the quick release slider on a level kitchen granite countertop. Is this normal? When you look at the setup the camera looks a little cockeyed sitting on the mounted fluid head. How level are good quality tripods supposed to be right out of the box, or is it assumed, that, no matter what, even on a perfectly level floor, you are supposed to level the tripod anyway. Being that I just got it and it was a pricey setup, I am thinking of asking for an exchange. What would you do?

Chelsea, while demonstrating the final Manfrotto tripod, you have an accessory attached to the tripod holding the Zoon recorder. What is the make and model of that accessory?

Pls Tony, could you tell me the brand of the last tripods you used, except for the one for filming, I live in Uruguay, we get lot's of ocean winds here, and I am looking for a sturdy tripod, wich can support my Canon 7 D mark ii and my Sigma Contemporary lens, I don't like screw legs at all, way to complicated to quickly change the hight on the fly… and last but not least it should be affordable and not too heavey…. hmmm I guess I'm asking for too much? Thanks a lot!!!! Great video again!

In the "Tripods-Choosing" video description are camera recommendations, and not a word about brands or models of tripods which were shown in the video. It doe's not make any sense for me.

I’ve got a “HILLPOW Q1 tripod”from my boyfriend. It’s great for beginners. It’s lightweight but can load 5kg,3-section legs with locks that can be adjusted to several different angles. I love it so much.

My favorite tripod is “HILLPOW Q6 plus tripod”,I felt safe with my camera on it. The legs are easy to extend and tighten, the head is very smooth in all directions. I can use it for many years.

You guys are great.. I need some help.. I recently upgraded to D810 with a Tamron 24 70 (Based on your suggestion!) and also to support my landscape photography I got lee filters. I love the camera but I immediately faced a problem with my long exposure photos due to stability issue of my old tripod.. with the lee filters wind adds to the problem.. what would you suggest for a long exposure travel tripod for such heavy camera/ lens?
